Carol Abney (Ava Bard) is an actress/dancer/ choreographer who has worked locally and internationally. She has appeared in a myriad of productions at the Fritz Theater. A favorite among them is Unmerciful Good Fortune for which she received a Patte performance award from KPBS. Carol created choreography for the critically acclaimed The Fever at The Fritz, which was named a top 10 show last year by the Union-Tribune. As a dancer she has performed with Lower Left Dance, Cross Arts and Techtonic Productions to name a few. Carol studied theater at UCSD and dance at the Rotterdam Dance Academy. By day, she works as a Pilates instructor. Her next shows are Celebration of the Lizard at the San Diego Rep and The Fever at Sushi.
