Tom Boyd and The Heroes (House Band) are a multi-award winning high-energy dance and show band based in San Diego. They are extremely popular locally, nationally and internationally, performing for corporate events, fund-raisers, concerts, Department of Defense tours, U.S.O. shows, and many other events. The Heroes are comprised of seven powerhouse musicians, featuring Tom Boyd on drums/vocals, Hank Easton on guitar/vocals, Laymon Davis on bass/vocals, Mark Moorhead on keyboard/vocals, Chris Lea on sax/flute/percussion/vocals, and two extremely talented female singers, Mattie Battista and De'Zsa Wilde. Their extensive song list includes everything from the Big Band Swing music era along with standards from the 1930s and '40s, all the way up to today's hits with a bit of '60s Motown, classic rock, funk and '70s disco/dance music. The world premiere of La Jolla DNA is a project they are thrilled and excited to be a part of! They leave for Memphis to perform at Graceland after these showcase performances.
